Observational weekly rotation in one of six Ann Arbor/Detroit clinics *

Two - supervised genetic counseling rotations in Ann Arbor & Detroit. 6-7 weeks/ rotation


Responsibilities: patient intake, family and medical history, inheritance and risk counseling (By end of the 2nd rotation)

Two - seven-week full time internships in: Ann Arbor/Detroit/Grand Rapids and elective rotation arranged by student*

Responsibilities: case prep, patient education, counseling with supervision and case follow-up

Semesters III-V: Attend 1 Michigan Outeach Clinic

Weekly Case Conference

HG 659 Clinic (2 credit)
Two week Laboratory Rotation in Cytogenetics & Clinical Pathology followed by a 7 week supervised genetic counseling internship in the Ann Arbor & Detroit area.


Responsibilities: full counseling and case management for 2-4 cases/ week
