The Department of Human Genetics at the University of Michigan Medical School seeks to fill two tenure track, Assistant Professor, faculty positions. New hires will join a growing community of 30 faculty with active research programs in a broad range of areas including neuroscience, genomics, epigenetics, and molecular, developmental, population, and statistical genetics. Our current faculty members study model organisms, patients, and/or populations. A neurogenetics research focus is preferred for one position.
Candidates with an exceptional record of research accomplishment may submit a C.V., description of research experience and future plans, teaching statement, and minimum of three letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation may also be sent to dhgsearch@umich.edu. The search committee will review applications as soon as they are received and begin issuing invitations to interview. Applications should be complete and submitted on or before November 1, 2011 for full consideration.
